Opening buds in field and lane,
Life emerging once again
As dormant winter slips away,
Circle of renewal is Nature’s way.
Pink blossoms of the cherry tree
Lift my soul and spirit free
Gone – winter’s sharp and icy blast
Now – hope that love and life will last.
